An electronic sign will be installed this spring along highway 14. Businesses, groups, and individuals will be able to use this sign to let others know what’s happening in our town. The completion of this project will be possible only through the efforts of the entire community. Fundraisers are being planned in March. The elementary students are currently collecting coins toward this effort. Any business, group, or individual wishing to contribute toward the sign may drop off their donation at the Farmers and Merchants State Bank.

Hi, How big is your electronic sign? What kind of post/foundation did you use? Whitewood would like to have an electronic sign to display ‘happenings’. What was the cost?

The city has been doing the ground work with this. they are going with Stein Sign Display (1-888-886-4616)
The cost is $25,000. half of which has been paid through grants that the city has received. the other half is being raised.
the sign specs are: 6′-1/8″ x 11″ 3/3″
3′x11′pole cover.
we hope to get the sign installed by this spring early summer.
you will have to drive through Iroquois sometime this summer to take a look at it.
